The second Ghana Breast Cancer Specialty Training Course held August 23-27, 2010 was hosted by the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and was sponsored by the Breast Health Global Initiative and HopeXchange and in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy (IAEA/PACT). This on-the-ground Learning Laboratory experience brought together over 170 doctors, nurses and social workers from all regions of Ghana to learn the fundamentals of breast cancer early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
