Steering Committee Purpose
The purpose of the Steering Committee is to establish the strategic direction, facilitate goal setting, and guide the development and focus of the BHGI. The purview of the steering committee includes both the biennial Global Summit Consensus Conferences and the BHGI projects operating separately from the guideline development process itself. These projects include collaborative relationship with other breast health organizations and governmental agencies and are designed to specifically address the improvement of breast health care in countries or regions of limited health care.
